This is one of two identical pieces available, and a very rare find in walnut at this size. The perimeter still shows the lighter coloring of sapwood walnut, including the wrapped curls along the bottom side. What remains along the center void is a spalting pattern as the tree slowly rotted from within. The two pieces in this series can be bought individually or as a set and could be displayed either as a matching sequence or flipped to display mirrored faces.
