Fine Furniture

One of our passions is custom furniture design. We have the ability to build a traditional style or a unique masterpiece designed with our customer's personally and home in mind. A newer offering of The Wood Cycle is furniture that emphasizes the unique cuts of lumber available to us. We refer to this as our LEAF line (Limited Edition Artisan Furniture), because we cut our own logs and set aside pieces with special character, even before we know how they will be used. Then, as we build, we use these principles:

• Natural log edges are incorporated whenever possible
• Knots and figure are sought instead of avoided
• The distinctive coloring of heartwood and sapwood is emphasized instead of disguised by stains or other treatments
• Lumber from an individual tree is used when possible

Unfortunately "limited" is a key word for this product line. As each supply of unique lumber cuts is exhausted, so is that furniture concept. This allows us to continually move on to new artistic efforts, and also allows you to continually see new offerings.
