Fine Furniture
If you want true custom-crafted furniture from solid American hardwoods that will last for generations, we do that. While most furniture making has moved overseas in the past few decades, we are part of a growing buy-local movement that focuses on using trees from our own back yards to furnish our homes. We’d love to work from your wood or from woods grown in your neighborhood to make an heirloom piece sized and designed specifically for you. Many of the examples you see here illustrate the clean lines and organic forms resulting from our blend of Shaker, Mission, Craftsman and Contemporary designs.
Everything we design is either a one-of-a-kind piece or a limited edition production. Often the limits are placed by the tree itself. Many of our furniture products are based on the unique qualities of woods that we find and can only be reproduced when we again encounter similar logs. Other pieces can be completed on more of a production level, but in a batch of only a few pieces. We have no desire to mass produce any of our works, but sometimes need to make 3 to 5 similar pieces to justify the set-up time that these designs may require. Custom sizing or revisions from these “repeatable” designs are always available and we also maintain a ridiculously large inventory of unique lumber cuts just waiting for the right client and design.
